It's not perfect, but at his age and it being his first season, he's been immense. The qualities are world class.

He looks like he could be anything. Still a bit rough around the edges. City were happy to let him have the ball but he did mostly fine with the ball, with the exception of that one bad pass leading up Jesus’ one on one IIRC.

Agree with this. There are some issues in his positioning at times. But his strength, pace and aerial strength is top shelf. Also very good on the ball most of the time. Looks a brilliant signing.

A handsome guy too, not quite Gini level but I think he’ll age well.

He just looks genuinely delighted to play football. The look on his face when he shrugs off the likes of Sterling is priceless.

He's got so much potential it's frightning. What a great time it was to buy him. He's still a bit raw - today for some weird reason he kept passing to TAA when the latter had absolutely nowhere to run on to - but he's clearly learning quickly.

Of all his qualities, the one I like the most is that he always seems to steam if there is any trouble.

 

Given he is young and it's his first season, it would be easy to shy away from these things. Ibou doesn't mess about.

Sakho couldn't run, that was his big problem. Konaté is a much better athlete and is bigger as well.

 

His and Konaté's passing are quite similar though, actually. Very forward thinking and daring.

Just read Konate's start with the club. Played 22, won 18, draw 4. 9 clean sheets - 3 golas scored.

If you watch his goal the last day against City, they left Virgil unmarked trying to deal with Ibou, and Ibou duely walked over both Grealish and Jesus to score.

There's also a pic doing the rounds of him laughing at Fernandinho after that cunt's tackle. Can find it now, but here's another one of him manhandling said cunt. John Stones staying well away!
