UEFA has put a covid protocol in place that allows for games to be played 48 hrs later. They could have used that for instance.
Their first priority should be the people, not the tournament and their money making machine.

btw I have absolutely no idea what you are trying to do here, but seems totally futile to engage with you on this, you think it is fine to value the tournament over the people, I don’t.

That's just emotive bollocks.

I haven't said anything remotely hostile to Denmark. I've liked the Danish national team since the days of Frank Arnesen. Not to mention Molby and Agger subsequently. And I like Eriksen as much as any non-Irish or -Liverpool player. I was also shocked, like everyone else, by what happened.

I think Eriksen is extremely lucky to be alive. And that says plenty for the organisation of this tournament.

In any case, I simply asked about what UEFA could realistically be expected to do. You didn't suggest playing on Monday night previously. Had you done so, I might have agreed with you. Although it would be totally unfair to Finland. Who're scheduled to play the early game on Wednesday.

Superb result in the England game today.  Scrapping a win against a shit side, raising the hopes of the little Englanders.  It’ll make those tears all the saltier when they get knocked out by the first half decent side they meet, again.
