Thinking back to the few England games I watched (Germany Denmark Italy) it was just so fucking boring. Even last night I was wondering if I was going to start falling asleep in extra time of a Euro final. The tactics were so negative and there's hardly any creativity. I'm no fan of Sterling either but for me he was the single player on the pitch throughout the games I watched were something interesting might happen when he had the ball, and that was inbetween his diving.

All I can think of to sum England up is park the bus with negative tactics, hope Kane or Sterling get the ball in a good place, then hope either of them doesn't fall on their arse trying to get a foul. In over 300 mins of football the only thing I can remember watching that I liked involving several players was the Sterling goal against Germany.

They only failed at a shootout though for the win so it's not as if Southgate will have any real incentive to change much. Maybe he can be a rebel next time out and actually put a striker on halfway through any extra time as an actual striker and not as a right back with 2 mins left? And try more to actually win the game before the penalties arrive.

My missus uncle worked the game last night, messaged me during the first half telling me the night had pretty much been ruined in the stadium. Stewards getting filled in badly. Really vile atmosphere. Sad outcome to an otherwise very good tournament. A certain ilk just don’t know how to behave.

Makes me feel proud to be Welsh.

I for one am shocked that the people who hate their own country were so full of shit.

Well bar for the forty odd coppers injured, trouble around the stadium and a load of online racist filth against their own players because they missed a penalty kick I also thought England's fans behaved impeccably.

Who was that wise old fella who said "if can't support us when we lose don't bother supporting us when we win.?

Can't argue with anything the loveable shithouse says there.

And I suspect, if asked about that foul, he'd probably have said... "ita wasa a professionala foula".

And then he might have sung this song...

I thought Chiellini was a tad fortunate not to see red for that pull back on Saka.

This is just bizarre!

To be fair Pickford scored a cracking penalty for them not long ago

Sterling though ….. we’ve seen the psyche of the man. He wanted to be greedy all tournament and granted scored a few goals but he did not want to have anything tarnishing his own little platform would be fuck have wanted to take a penalty. Shit bag

Yeah seen more coverage about apologies and condemnation about England fans than Italy winning the Euros. Remember all those know it alls who called people out for calling England fans out? "dickheads" I think was the term.....

Who are the dickheads now?

England are overrated and flat track bullies that had a very favourable draw in both the Euros and the World Cup. The only top side England have beaten in those 2 competitions was a German team in total chaos. All this crap about how strong England are is just baffling. The difference in quality between Italy and England was so clear last night.

Southgate and his negative team selections and tactics are nothing to be proud of.

I think if he wasn't so negative they could have won the final.

What if I told you that you could love your county whilst also hating / disliking certain elements of it.

(Some of the national teams supporters, the government…etc)
