By the VAR standards we have seen so far that isn't a red. It's a red in the PL who examine everything with a microscope and its a red by the letter of the law but it wasn't a massive cock up. VAR have let bigger mistakes than that go in the tournament, as soon as the English get involved the game goes to fuck.

It was a red but Hummels tackle on Mbappe was a peno, Russia's peno against Denmark wasn't a peno and Mbappé's penos against Portugal wasn't a peno either. It seemed to me that UEFA had decided VAR wasn't going to be the star of the tournament, it was only to be used in cases of clear injustices. That decision was typical PL ref being cunts, what took so long to call him over why such a delay on the handball check later? They're just shit, took an age last night in the Italy game too.
