Just heard that Mason Mount and Ben Chillwell are self isolating from the England squad after being in contact with Gilmour.

Might be the right time for England to withdraw from the tournament with their dignity intact.

Oh gini!

Why o why does he have to leave us? Leading scorer at the tournament and just missed his hat trick.

Gini seems to be in peak physical condition. Can probably continue at this level for at least 4 more years. Ridiculous that we let him go. Any replacement will be very costly and by no means a guarantee to give us close to what Gini did.

His replacement came in last summer mate

As I've said before, Gini would have been excellent in Firmino's role...

It's always been a great shout hasn't it.  Klopp shackled him but you'd think he'd be scoring for fun in training and Klopp would have seen it, just doesn't make sense.

Gini clearly plays a different role for the national side than he did for us, and for whatever reason he shows more composure and intent in shooting positions when playing for them than for Liverpool. It's probably the same thing we've seen time and time again with players who are prolific with their national team but don't replicate that form at club level (most of those I could name are strikers, but still). No doubt that Gini has been one of the tournament's outstanding players so far.

He's in the box every single time they break.

Gini’s just a brilliant footballer. Excelled for us and his country in two very different roles. We’ve made a mistake by letting him go. Didn’t he play more than almost anybody last season too?

Holland’s third goal, if Gini had gotten that exact chance at Liverpool, he would have blasted it over. We have seen several examples of it. For some reason he didn’t seem to have his shooting boots on at Liverpool.

Not sure any of the teams In the current Dutch group would be in the top half in the Premier League. Macedonia wouldn't be in the top half of the Championship.
