I hope I'm not jinxing this, but I can't remember ever enjoying watching Italy playing, as much as I am now, and that's because I've also never seen them play at this intensity throughout a match. They've always bored their way through a game, either after scoring and then defending it for the remainder, or defending and waiting for the opportunity to nick it.

Probably not happening now.

 

I fancy Pickford to put one through his own net, miscuing a clearance from a short back pass from super sub Origi.

Yeah I really like this Italian team. I'm not sure I've ever said that!

Brilliant team.

They’re as well drilled as a club side. Mancini’s done a great job. They’re fantastic to watch too.
