Travel-wise, the Swiss have it hardest in this group. Italy play all their games in Rome. Wales play their first 2 games in Baku and then travel to play their last game in Rome. Turkey start in Rome and their remaining games are in Baku. The Swiss start and finish in Baku, but have to travel to and from Rome in between.

Turkish lamb recipes > Welsh lamb recipes

Indeed mate, we're talking the wonderful, wonderful world of shish and kebap vs rarebit at best, and although at its best rarebit is very very good, we are basically in a culinary no-contest here.

Anyone know how the hosts were chosen?

Seems very arbitrary - some teams at home, others away!

All the hosts were chosen long before any qualifiers were known. If both hosts in a group qualified, they drew lots for who got the 3 home ties and who got 2.

Edit: well it's a little more complex than that, teams that qualified directly were automatically given precedence over those who got through via play-offs

Again, VAR in the Euros embarrassing the Premierships use of it.

We’d still be looking at that now.

Should add to this, but it’s really good it’s working properly in the Euros.

Obviously it’s not ruining this tournament (so far) but when the Premiership officials continue to be shite next season, supporters can say “Why did it work so much better in the Euros?”.

Pressure will be on Riley and his merry band of Dweebs to sort their shit out.
