I'm not loving Fabinho in defence, but I think Williams needs a rest...

Suspect we will go;

----------Allison--------

Trent--Fab--Nat---Robbo

--------------Gini-‐-------------

-------Thiago----Milner------

--Salah----Firmino---Mane-

Taking Fabinho out of defence is conceding that we won’t win - at that stage a point becomes a very, very good outcome from Wednesday's game. Results with him at CB in recent months speak volumes, not because of poor performances on his part, but because of what we lose elsewhere on the pitch. Wijnaldum in defence would be the better option if we are that desperate.

Well, they coped well (ish) against Rashford and Greenwood. It's the fucking grocks that caused them problems (Rhys in particular).

They didn't, you don't usually get to concede two at old Trafford and leave with all three points.

Phillips was dreadful on both goals.

I think you have to trust Phillips and Williams. But the buttholes will be tight. They will be very tight. Wednesday and Sunday.

Rather see Milner in at CB than Williams again . That said Klopp will probably agree with you .

FFS, should read “taking Fabinho out of midfield”.

Williams got exposed big time before with Rashford in the cup game. Philips has also struggled with players with Pace - the Madrid match recently as one example. Both are a liability and mistake waiting to happen.

Which Burnley players are you worried about exactly?

We conceded a goal to Robson Kanu who hasn’t played at the top level for a couple of years. Any striker that has two legs will cause our two CB’s problems.

That twat Ashley Barnes, hits the floor at every opportunity and is a general pain in the arse.

Jay Rodriguez can produce the odd moment of class, and any fucker with the name Cork, well, enough said.

That said, we should have more than enough to beat these, but these and West Brom are exactly the type of teams we struggle against.

Grocks who will sit back and go for it on the break, or from free kicks, corners etc..

We beat Palace 7-0, they will want to right that particular aberration, but if they attack us, it’ll suit us.

Barnes is a cunt of the highest order. He'll elbow you to the throat and plead innocence but if you breathe near him he falls over easier than Drogba.

Was injured for weeks and I thought he was out for the season. The cunt was subbed on at the weekend so is a banker to start up front with Wood.

Lay off Williams you bunch of reactionary Twitter wankers, he played well at old Trafford. The last game you saw does not define a player and he’s potentially a good defender.

He is ok,much like Phillips but wouldn't be near the first team without our car crash of a season.

Chris Wood. 7ft tall and arms and legs that go everywhere. Typical English centre forward. Phillips should handle him in the air but Williams could have a few problems.

He’s kiwi.

He’s just not ready I don’t think. He needs a couple of seasons in the Championship or the Bundesliga.

Last but by no means least. For the first time in more than a year Burnley fans will be back on their beloved Turf. Huge thanks must go to Alan Pace and the Burnley Board for making these tickets free in a season when the greed of the owners of the so-called “Big Six” has been made plain for all to see. To those lucky 3,500 who will be there on Wednesday night the message is simple. Do your team proud, do your town proud. Fill the ground with your noise! COYC!

Yeah, if it wasn't for the Big Six attracting huge television payouts for clubs like you, you'd be playing in front of 350 fans every week in League One.

It may happen. It may not. Worse players have had chances and scored, and world class players haven't against the same 2 centre backs.

I'd just enjoy the ride, and be grateful we have these 2 available, so that we can pick a proper midfield.
