He's OK, surprised to see Cool Hand Luke doing so well in this group. I would have expected only Ne Moe Imya and maybe two or three others going for it.

I meant the film, words you highlighted. Newman was OK. He was charismatic, one of the actors that have a proper screen presence, a star.

I remember seeing him interviewed by Barry Norman. As a daft little flippant question, Norman asked him whether  (given the fact that Redford was Mayor of Carmel) he would ever go into politics and might we see Butch & Sundance on the ticket. 

Instead of laughing it off, Newman thought for a moment and said "Well, they never killed anybody until they went straight,"

You originally said “A lot of love for Paul Newman on here”.  My point is, it’s not surprising that a number of people are voting for Paul Newman films, given he was a great actor and made some brilliant films.
