We Need a New Striker - Who?

I've posted about this lad before. 

We have been linked him him at some points. 

 

Not seen much but i do like what i have seen. 

He fucking massive at 6'7, but still looks mobile enough to play. 

Obviously easy to say he's a bit like Crouch but theres something there that reminds me of Giroud with his finishing.

23 14 goals and 4 assists in 27 games for a mid table Stuttgart side. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also i'd look at Leon Bailey depending on price. 9 goals and 8 assists so far this season and would give us another option in the front three

Cant say I ever heard of him, but I never heard of mane, firmino or salah either to be honest. 

Vlahovic is very much in the natural finisher category. He will 100% end up at a big club in time.

Saw him pre-lockdown and he scored (vs Ajax). Wasn't overly amazed at his general play (also came away not expecting much more than we've seen from Bergwijn at Spurs), he had obvious talent but thought he looked a bit inexperienced at that level.  If it's fallen into place for him since he could be a real player.

 

Reckon he's probably the player we'd hoped Brewster would be at this point, whether that's even quite good enough for what we need, I'm not sure.

Yep. Good goalscorers instincts judging by the number of goals he's scored from in and around the 6 yard box in that highlights package.

 

He has played in wide roles in his young career too, so there is a degree of flexibility with him.

When I read an article on him, I keep reading "High Ceiling", which to me seems to fit in with this.

Dembele at Barca? Seem's he's not renewing his contact and he's out in 2022, so I'd assume he'd leave this summer if thats the case.

Not really a striker. Also mega injury prone. Top talent, though. Klopp was a huge fan of him.

There's a lot of talent coming through at AZ. Boadu at the top of the tree, but there's also Calvin Stengs (number 7 in the video - left-footed, inverted winger type), Teun Koopmeiners (AZ captain), Jesper Karlsson (versatile forward) & Owen Wijndal (left-back).

He was described to me by a friend who's a sports journalist and commentator as "Nice player. Bit lightweight." So, a possible Minamino replacement.

The Patson Daka shout is really good, I think he'll be a top player.

 

But even better would be buying Jadon Sancho and moving Mo up front. I think Sancho is oddly undervalued, maybe because all the hype has gone over to Haaland, and we might just be the only ones in for him this summer if we were to make an approach. He'd still be expensive, but possibly just barely affordable if we sold a few players.
