Carragher has been clear he is on a cushy number with sky. Gets to watch the games, gets paid, no danger of getting binned off, no accountability, gets to stay in Liverpool, goes the gym every morning (not the main plus), etc.

He will go along with anything he has to.

Carragher really is a piece of shit, I know people still actually like this fucking lapdog but not me.

I could understand if he needed the job but how much money must he have? I doubt he’d be worrying about having to claim UC and get vouchers for the food bank if he was given his mo the notice.

I'm fed up of hearing about the big 6, every fan base of 5 of these clubs protested peacefully but Utd riot break in to the ground and cause a game to be abandoned the premier League should award us the points and as for Carra the man's become a sky lapdog disappointed by him is an understatement.Neville would have crucified us for that and so would Sky.

If it’s a postponement and nothing more than a light tap on the wrist for United, we absolutely have to take advantage of this new rule in the event we have a lot of injuries before key home games in future. It would be pathetically moronic not to.

Exactly. Precedent would have been set.

The main reason they're angry is cause they've been shit for 8 years. Would be nice if someone pointed that out.

Souness pointed out that they wouldn't have done this had they been top of the league.

Great protest! The fans' voices have been heard! The action will make the Glazers sit up and think. The football revolution has begun.

Next season will start .......and the Glazers will still own the fucking club. Neville is a fucking idiot.

Soft as shite.

Should have used this to codemn those manc rats and that clubs failure to do its job.

May as well have added 'if rearranged date fucks us over with a ridiculously short turnaround from or to our next game, oh well never mind'

Statement from LFC:

Liverpool Football Club was in full agreement with the decision to postpone today’s fixture as a result of ongoing events at Old Trafford and the surrounding area.

It is our position that public safety must be the number one factor in any such decision, with the ability to provide a secure environment for the participants, staff and officials being a particular priority.
It was clearly not possible for this to be guaranteed today due to a situation which escalated rapidly.
We will continue to have dialogue with Manchester United, the Premier League and the local authorities to find a suitable date to reschedule.
As soon as we have this information we will update our supporters accordingly.

I was going to post something similar. There's literally no disincentive to stop a club's fans "protesting against their owners" if they find themselves in this predicament.
