It must be horrible for them really Docker.  City are going to be hitting 10 titles soon and once that happens, it's ti cking down to 15....

Long term, I really don't know what will happen with us under these owners, but I do expect us to be back in the mix as long as Jurgen is here. FSG have their qualities, but for us to really challenge City, United or Chelsea on a regular basis it will need an investment of which I don't know will they follow through on. We won't get another Jurgen though I actually think they will prioritise a world class manager because it makes sense for them financially.

Still come next August, us and City will be the two best teams in the league. That may change over the summrr. Horrible for them.

Yeah 100 percent agree.

Medium term, I can only see Chelsea getting near to City....... assuming P£p the Cheque sticks around and continues to splash the cash, and Abramovic follows up on his massive pandemic spend over the coming years. Juergen, like Rafa, has succeeded in overturning the established order with Dortmund, then us, Rafa with Valencia. But these breakthroughs have been short lived, with the moneybag clubs pulling away again, having opened their wallets. Will the Glaziers spend another £200m to bridge the gap to City? Remains to be seen.

From the BBC;

We've been allowed back into the commentary box so we are sat where where we'd usually be at this point with around five minutes of the first half left.

We are awaiting a decision as to whether or not this game actually takes place. Discussions are continuing between the two clubs and the match officials and representatives from the Premier League.

As well as the security of the players, if and when they do arrive here inside the stadium, the discussions have to be how they get through the crowds of fans who are still congregated outside.

In these Covid times, there are usually two coaches per team so that means four coaches to get through the supporters before they actually get to the ground.

It's very much still a waiting game.

I hope the Glazers’ takeaway from this is that they should maximise the club’s ’brand identity’ while taking a bit of a Mike Ashley approach to the on-field side of things.

Stock up on green & gold scarves as they did last time the fans wanted to buy them to protest...

Souness having pointed out United have spent a billion quid on utter shite, then that the Super League is an inevitable extension of the likes of Sky buying football, has now moved on to English players diving.

and now the refs and VAR.  Top work.

What I find did is that everyone knew that that Utd fans were going to be protesting by the ground today, but Manchester Police were nowhere to be seen.

Par for the course at OT when the Manc fans have the numbers.

I wish they'd either give us a kick-off time or cancel the fucker altogether.  This waiting is shite.

It’s keeping people watching their adverts so still fulfilling their obligations.

Micah Richards is like a 14 year old schoolboy trying to shoehorn himself into a conversation with Shankly and Paisley completely out of his depth here

Haha great analogy. He's so shite. Keane is enjoyable to be fair and because he was a great player, I can take him. I love when he kicks off at United players.

Souness is just a great pundit. Feels like a Harvard lecturer talking at the local college here. He is on a different level to everyone.

Better still, introduce a third kit in those colours for 22/23 but market it solely as a 30th anniversary kit for the one they started wearing in 1992.

Offer them free printing of #GlazersOut on the back of the shirt as an added bonus.
