Finished the 4th series tonight, absolutely superb telly.

 

Would happily start it all over again tomorrow but I don't reckon the missus would be too happy.

I thought season 4 was really weak, too many main characters surviving situations they shouldn't. The fact I didn't binge watch it probably says it all, I'd give seasons 1-3  a good 9.5/10, this one is scrapping a 6.5.

Got round to finishing this and it really is great. Looking forward to season 5. Crazy how few talk about it. There are some great characters but Louie and Jerome are my favs. Teddy is great too.
 

my one gripe is that Franklin isn’t the most intimidating person and him shouting doesn’t kind of work. Think the problem was they made him too nice so when he does it feels forced. They should have made him far more cut throat.

3 episodes into season 5 and it's still top notch drama.

 

Skully is a fucking psycho and Franklin (and his tache) is still the man.

I thought the fifth series started poorly but picked up pace towards the end other than the acid/wedding mis-step.

 

The first two or three series were definitely the peak though, it's being dragged out a bit now IMO. Franklin had a lovely Baracuta jacket on in that last episode but he's taken a serious hit in the bird stakes.
