Mourinho Sacked

Hopefully we’ll never have him polluting these shores again.

Still, strange timing given they have a cup final at the weekend and Europe to qualify for.

He's finished as a top level manager the last couple of jobs hes had hes not lasting that long and things go bad very quickly.

Weird timing. They've got the League Cup final coming up and he could easily have done a Juande Ramos and won the thing against the favourites.

Not really they fucked Jaunde Ramos off after he won a league cup as its a Mickey Mouse trophy with no significance unless your adding some other trophies or a top 4 place. You get 100K for winning it. Both the FA cup and League cup mean fuck all nowadays.

Hes been fucked off because everytime they have a chance to close the gap on the top 4 they lose or draw.

I thought that too. I wonder who they have lined up? Maybe only a draw against Everton was unacceptable!

Shit Coat sacked after your club basically says there is no need to finish in the top four.

That’s gotta hurt.

Not quite as bad as Gunnersaurus getting furloughed (while its club is negotiating a multi billion pound deal) but it’s close.

Festers like a malignant tumour wherever he's hitched up for the past 6 years. I'm not sure there's ever been such a managerial fall from grace as Mourinho's. From the strutting cock of the 00s and early 10s, to the sagging grey sulk of the past half decade. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Nagelsmann is favourite to be the next Spurs manager.

Can't see that happening. They'll go for someone like Rafa, or an internal promotion, I reckon. Maybe Potter at Brighton who has looked decent.

The definition of a busted flush.

Rumour seems to be he refused to take training after the ESL announcement, guess Levy saw the opportunity to save some severance. Interested to see what happened, if it was just a matter of them having enough of him or if he's had one of those annoying "seems like a decent guy when he's not managing a side" moments.

Apparently, he was sacked because he didn't allow his team to train because of Spurs being a founder of ESL. Sounds ludicrous.

Brendan Rodgers is the favorite not Nagelsmann.

Rodgers would be wise to wait for a bigger club to come in for him.

Wouldn't put it past him - I swear he gets himself sacked deliberately for the pay off.

    • If i was them and got a offer of 100ml for Kane id snap City hand off. Kane ankles are fucked. They could nab Calvert Lewin and still have money for another midfielder
    • Yes, because no-one knows about Kane's qualities, and are aggressively monitoring him at the Euros to see what the fuss is all about.   There is no chance in hell his "best days are behind him"
    • The reason Spurs have not approached Rafa, I reckon, is because of his outspoken character, not afraid to voice his displeasure at the owners, whether about money or other political matters within the club.   Levy took a huge chance on hiring Mourinho with the prospect of him winning one of the cups to tide them over. But it became so toxic and unworkable that just days before they were about to play the final, he pulled the trigger, as it would likely have locked Mourinho in further, along with a potential trophy bonus, so it was probably the lesser of two evils as he saw it. Added to that was the failure to get a top 4 place, which would have been a higher priority than either of the domestic cups.   Now they have to walk a very tight line between somebody compliant and the ability to get them to the CL which they absolutely need given the massive debt they have to pay off for their stadium. Rafa would certainly be their best bet on the latter, but would the former be a price they're willing to pay?
    • Thats makes sense for Real Bring him back for free sell Isco/Assensio to free wages and fee and sell Rodriguez a year later
    • It wouldn't be a shock if he was allowed a free if ancelotti left.
