Usher better be on his typewriter now like the dude at the end of the A-team credits.

Thinking back that fella typed a bit quicker than normal at the end of the episode with Boy George in it. Make of that what you will.

Football started it’s slippery slope to what we have now when they replaced this magnificent trophy with all it’s history

I only said that to someone last night, its been a steady decline since.  We won't mention the Cannon league trophy, but at least they binned that fast enough.

I remember sometime around 1990, Alan Hansen saying he was the top earner on 900 quid a week, and my old man saying thats some money to be on.

My thoughts exactly. I did have to laugh at Ferguson calling it 'a scandal.' The manager and club who began all this are suddenly outraged? Don't make me laugh. Quote less hypocritical people if you want your article to not be laughed at.

It's funny that he fell out with the previous owners over a racehorse and then the Glazers took over.

Also, unless the Mancs are shite they wont care. All their fans are interested in is winning and having one over opposition fans. The Mancs I've worked with wont even discuss footy unless they are winning everything.

The only good thing about this is Roy Keane kicking off at the shite football in the new Premier League. They should just give him 20 million a year for doing the two games on a Sunday. He'll be the only reason people will tune in.

Michah Richards will be disconsolate. "I really thought Sheikh Monsoor was a stand up guy who cared about the homeless, the drug addicts and the stray dogs in Manchester, but I guess it's great to be hear watching Stoke vs Burnley with Roy who loves my instagram page".

If you have no chance of winning the league, then what is the point in it? Take your Liverpool kit off for a second and think about it.

What is the point?

Could be talking about Liverpool here once Klopp goes. UEFA buckling to the biggest enemy of football has caused all this.

"This is a cash grab by Liverpool and Ed Woodward. I've got total sympathy for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, football manager at Manchester United Football Club."

"I know what ya meeeeeeeeaaannn. As a former Liverpool player I'm embarrassed."

"You should be, I wish I could say I'm surprised at Liverpool but I'm not."

"I know what ya meeeeeeeeaaann."

Explosive.

More on his feed from the government.

If the government are going to fuck about part-nationalising football clubs while social housing is non-existent and Royal Mail, water, energy and telecommunications (with the NHS invariably on its way) remain entirely in the hands of overseas firms and / or their profit scoffing rich friends, they are even more despicable than I thought, and that’s saying something.

Expect to see supporters rushed back into stadiums ASAP as the shithouses realize they hold a losing hand. They don't give a shit about us, it's just the money they are crying for. This is great and the shakeup these corrupt fuckers have needed for years. Fuck you, fuck letting Citeh spend fortunes with no cap, fuck VAR and fuck Tyler and all the wanker pundits.

I don't even know where to start with it all. Not planning on writing anything until I've had time to digest the enormity of it all and until I've heard Klopp speak about it.

If this happens I think it'll probably the be biggest, most significant thing to ever happen in football. The ramifications of it will change things forever, and not for the better.

Second paragraph is a good start I can picture Morgan Freeman narrating it already.

Waiting for the facts to come out and for the emotions to simmer a little. This is why Dave Usher is a top professional.
