Horrible behaviour by Russia. I was watching the news report earlier and was watching one of the relief workers working on the rubble. The strength of character these people are showing is huge.

The problem is this assumes you can measure how much someone cares based on where they post. We never really know what people are thinking, this is way too simplistic.

Yeah you're right. It is to simplistic. I was responding to someone calling me a rat.

The British during WW2 began calling the Japanese "rats." It has been an Asian slur.

... often used analogies involving animals or insects that lived underground to describe the Japanese, like “fanatical little rats.” (Soldiers of the Empire)

It was because of their use of tunnels.

After Pearl Harbor the US took up the mantle;

I'm not bothered it's just a poster letting off steam. I thought it was now anti semitic. A racist slur?

To clarify - you don't know of it's origination and now don't know how it is used.

To clarify. I don't care. I'm just pointing out other posters who used that slur were called racist.

Did you put that post up then?

TBF the Australians rather liked being called the Rat Brigade.

Thats lovely. Did you say that when someone else was being called a racist for using that word?  Do a search.

I don't respond to faceless posters calling each other racists on a web site. No need for a search.

I’ll keep my views on Palestine to appropriate forums, not the thread on a football forum that is plagued with agenda driven, inflammatory cunts like you. This thread would have been fine without your inputs, constantly criticising Ukraine and bringing the Gaza crisis into it. It was an update and discussion on where things are up to without you.

As I say, I don’t go on that thread, so unaware of what mud slinging and point scoring you’re referencing with the above, but you are a fucking rat. In the true sense of the word and without any awareness of racial undertones from the person delivering it, which is me.

Now fuck off, you - this will be the last time I read your posts and definitely the last time I reply.

Mugface.

I think you need to read back the thread - slowly.

I am not outraged by anything - I did point out the historical origins which you seem blissfully unaware of.

A quick search does put you in the top two of using the term though if that helps. It is really not often - are you outraged?

There is another poster who has used it about half the time it appears. He appears to have been called a racist by quite a few posters - is he the one we should be outraged for?

I don't need to read anything  slowly  I'm more than aware  We are not talking about me trying to explain to you the limitations of Biden kiddo  Took you a long time for you to figure it out but you got there in the end. I told you he wouldn't cope with a campaign, you wouldn't have it. Throwing up various polls. .  . I don't give two fucks about Curlypops using the word. I'm pointing out your hypocrisy.

No I'm not outraged. As I've said many times.
