The latest general to get capped was only 41, the fuck, did he start out as a drummer boy?

Probably the only one in his unit who knew how to use an indoor toilet. Them posh types always get a leg up the ranks.

More Russian generals killed apparently I imagine the guy who cleans the bogs will get promoted at this rate.

21k losses are insane do we know what the Ukrainian ones are in comparison?

These figures are most likely not true. Russians are saying that over 25k Ukrainians have died, which is also most likely not true.

The figures quoted for Russia came from the Russian Defense Ministry.

They appeared on a Twitter account (or similar) of a Russian media outlet, which said they were hacked and removed it, just like it happened about a month ago. The numbers are identical to what UKR armed forces are publishing as Russian losses, which is indicative. Also, the description (which attributed it to Russia's MoD) said the figures came from a MoD closed briefing, and apparently, they do not hold "closed briefings", at least not for journalists, and when you think about it, why would they?

For fellas who are supposed to be the masters at it they sure get hacked alot.

It's probably not that hard to hack a newspaper's social media account - they have hacked a number of TV channels and similar before to display anti-war and similar messages.

Think about it, with the level of censorship in Russia and severe punishment for anybody stepping out of line, even if they received that info at a closed MoD briefing, would they rush to publish it? I cannot imagine the reason MoD would reveal such catastrophic numbers to anybody not from the innermost  circles. Plus, it would mean UKR numbers are accurate, which is not very likely.

Latest from Tom Cooper. Better than the last one.

Tom is not happy with the official info coming from both sides and is in full on sarcastic mood.

The Ukrainian GenStab said early on 23 April, that all the Russian attacks on the Donbass frontlines of the last 6–7 days were ‘just testing’: quasi, the RFA was probing to find out weak spots in the Ukrainian lines. Hm…. If the loss of Borova, Pisky-Radkivski, Lozove, Ridkodub, and — worst of all — Kremina and Zariche, and the forced withdrawal of such a crack Ukrainian formation like the 128th Mountain Brigade, plus additional losses of the 17th Tank were ‘just testing’…. sigh… what shall we expect from the much-announced and -expected ‘main blow’ then…?
