Russia v Ukraine

For those talking about how badly right wingers poll in Ukraine, this is from the Atlantic Council's "UkraineAlert" blog in 2018 :

To be clear, far-right parties like Svoboda perform poorly in Ukraine’s polls and elections, and Ukrainians evince no desire to be ruled by them. But this argument is a bit of “red herring.” It’s not extremists’ electoral prospects that should concern Ukraine’s friends, but rather the state’s unwillingness or inability to confront violent groups and end their impunity. Whether this is due to a continuing sense of indebtedness to some of these groups for fighting the Russians or fear they might turn on the state itself, it’s a real problem and we do no service to Ukraine by sweeping it under the rug.

Ukraine’s Got a Real Problem with Far-Right Violence (And No, RT Didn’t Write This Headline)

Ahh here we fucking go if true;

I know its not easy to reason with a monster but I'm sensing a lack of political will to find some sort of solution to this nightmare which will see Russian troops pulling out of Ukraine.

If the possible use of chemical weapons is not enough to worry about why not throw the prospect of a nuclear disaster into the mix?

Not sure if it's already been mentioned, or if allowed to here, but Ukraine have a number of biological weapons labs that are are US funded.

That's certainly what the Kremlin propaganda says. Sadly no surprise to see it repeated here.

There's a load of archived links here that were supposed to have been removed from this page recently on Ukraine biolabs :

Yep. Saw a vid of a Russia attack helicopter being taken out by a missile. I thought 'there's people in that thing, someone's son, father or brother' and felt for them. They didnt stand a chance once the missile locked on.

Equally, I saw another vid of a car driving down a road. It stopped when the driver saw a Russia tank. The tank obliterated the car with 2 shells. Turns out the car was driven by an arl fella and his wife trying to get somewhere safe. I felt for them too and thought the tank commander should rot in hell and get his come uppance.

Yep I actually haven’t intentionally watched a single video of the war, I’m trying to keep up via articles. Everytime I do see burnt out car or tank or building that was once a home or someone’s lively hood I just feel sad to be honest.

War is absolute hell and pointless. The vast majority of the dead and those left behind didn’t want this (on either side) but yet they pay the ultimate price of the egos of the powerful who are safely tucked away from the fighting.

hopefully it’s over soon.

I havent been deliberately looking for vids either, mate. Unfortunately they were embedded in online news articles so played automatically.

I read now that Russian forces have bombed a fucking maternity hospital leaving new borns, mothers and medics buried under rubble? Dont know whether it's poor intel, a deliberate act of wayward shells but this is inhumane.
