Easy work for Madrid, out with a wimper.

Consistent with how meekly we surrendered our league title. Its all come home too roost thanks to spending close to fuck all for two years.

Going to be a fight to even get in the top 4 now.

Last season was much more annoying with that mug Adrian tossing us out. We were done on fundamentals in the away leg here.

People always blame Adrian and yeah he was a big part of it but fuck me we wasted chance after chance that night, same against Napoli when that Alisson save kept us in it. We don't score enough goals in the biggest games over the past 12 months

Watching Liverpool try to dink and pass their way through a deep lying defence is becoming the most predictable and futile sight in football.

Burnley, Real Madrid.

It matters not whom.

And as a side note, the total ineffectuality of the early substitutions was bleakly depressing.

These games are played on extremely fine margins. When your goalkeeper is such an epic fuck up as Adrian was (and Karius before him), you're done. I actually can't remember any games at this level where keepers have made cataclysmic errors and their teams gone through. Almost impossible to shrug off.
