2 nil is alright all things considered, that was a 5 nil half of football. Alisson the only one above 3/10, even Thiago stank the place out and he's only on 2 minutes.

Keita has to go in the summer, and this was the very kind of game Thiago was bought for. Absolutely baffling beyond belief him not starting this.

Making Real Madrid look like world beaters here. The season hangs in the balance, a goal back could make a big difference. No goal back or any more goals conceded would be curtains. Have to wonder where Klopp's head was when he though Keita was a good idea. Even Oxlade-Chamberlain would have made more sense as he's been a sub in a few matches.

Shocking lack of intensity again for whatever reason. Such a jekyll and hyde team at the moment. Are they just in awe playing Real Madrid? So frustrating, where is the famous Klopp high tempo performance? So many mistakes, no chances created. Madrid could have had more.

The players have been embarrassing, but Klopp knows it's his fault, taking Keita off after 40 minutes. Admitting he made a mistake. 

 

By the way, the people who shit on Firmino constantly, I'm not saying he's good all the time, but this is what you get when you have 3 similar players up top who all want to play in behind, against a team that has technical ability and that want to press. You get long balls and no relay between midfield and attack.

The worst first 45 minutes I can recall for a long time. Shocking with the ball. Asleep and clumsy at the back. 

 

But, it could be much much worse. You can only hope that we can't be that bad again in the second half. And even a 2-1 or 3-1 defeat keeps the tie alive.

Well looking at the team in Red out there how the fuck did they beat anyone last Saturday?

They’ve been targeting our right side from kick off. I think most teams believe that Trent is weak defensively and it seems they’re right.

Brilliant going forwards maybe, but he is suspect and good teams find him out.

He’s had no support from Keita or Salah so either they’ve been told to not cover back or they’re not bothered, but both goals didn’t come from them not covering so maybe it’s a moot point.

We sure as hell can’t afford to concede another, and we have to score at least one to give us a chance at home.

Just can’t see either happening as it stands.

One thing Bobby brings is very good pressing. Which he gets more or less no credit for. Not saying Bobby has been great this season, cause he hasnt, but we definately wouldn’t have given them such an easy job if he was on the field.
