... if you’ve had it.

Oooh, oooh, me, me!!!

Went to Bootle this morning. In and out in five minutes. Super efficient public service from the taxpayer funded NHS. Wasn’t even a ball ache having to drive to Bootle as we had a walk on Crosby beach after. Nice.

Who else has been chipped and controlled?

5 minutes?  Thought you were meant to stay for 15 minutes in case of allergic reaction.

Anyway, yeah, I'm done.  AZ.

They just said you can’t drive for ten minutes after the jab, so Mrs Paul drove us to the beach.

It's a 15 minute stay with rhe Pfizer jab. No stay needed with the AZ.

You're right: Boost for vaccine campaign as 15-minute observation not needed after Oxford jab | GPonline

Think the SW region has been doing it in all cases, as I was asked to in Exeter and I believe Taunton had it in place too.

That makes more sense, the Exeter one I went to was out of town at an events centre. Can't imagine many people went there that didn't drive. Parents were told if they weren't driving they could leave earlier too.

My 2nd Pfizer jab will be due in 3-4 weeks. I volunteered at a local clinic back in Jan and even though I don't meet the age and wellness criteria, us volunteers were given our jabs because the clinic would otherwise have had to throw a lot of doses away. A number of people who were due in hadn't shown up hence why there were several doses to spare.

I booked one on the NHS website for 30th March at the rugby stadium in St Helens, but I got a text from my doctors surgery on Friday saying I could make an appointment with them. As it’s more local I called them and was offered my first vaccine for this Tuesday at the surgery, and I’ve cancelled the other appointment I’d made. I’m working from home, so if I feel rough I should be able to cope okay whilst doing as little as I can get away with.

Had the first one a week or so back, no side effects as I didn't have time for them.

Like all true Brit patriots I had the red, white and blue Oxford one. The traitors who went for the foreign muck should be kicked out of the country, frankly.

Being in Ireland means it will be years before I'll be getting one because they couldn't organise a pork chop in a slaughterhouse. But if any of ye get really ill from the 'Blood Clot Syrup' can you make sure to pass your login details for here onto relatives so we can still use your votes for the music drafts? Sound.

Kids were waiting in the car. I came out doing a zombie walk across the car park.

Apparently that's not 'cool or funny'.

Great for the kids but I bet everyone else thought you was a proper bellend.

Had my OxAZ jab a couple of weeks ago and felt a bit of a fraud. In my 30s and fine health but I'm invigilating exams for medical students this week and next, and so was offered it if I wanted it and thought I might as well.

I was a bit achy the day after but that was it.
