I won't, but didn't he base his role on Chuck Wepner? if its not about boxing.

Anyway I'm pissed off as went round to hers to settle down to watch a good movie and my DVD disc was fucked and we couldn't find it on the likes of Netflix etc. Wiseblood is a dark funny film but that's for another thread.

Watched Tony instead.

His biopic - The Bleeder aka Chuck - is worth watching.  He was a bum who got a shot against Ali (just like Rocky Balboa did against Apollo Creed). Stallone was inspired by his story to create Rocky. Wepner ended up convinced that Rocky's success was his success. He's basically a fuck-up (and therefore a much more interesting character than Rocky Balboa).

Imagine being an adult and never seeing Rocky. I want to be there to see easytoslips eyes at the end. Slip the jab?

I don't cry, I can perfectly keep my emotions in check that is except for the other night watching Kenny, I could see her in the corner of my eye on the other couch, she kept looking round to me to see if I was, I knew you would she said.

I failed as a man I couldn't help it or hide it. To be honest I'll get a tear if I see something good like last night watching Hitsville and all those boss musicians, soft cunt me.

I can't believe the amount of time being spent discussing Rocky on a soundtrack thread & not one mention of Shaft In Africa yet.

The only thing I remember about it is Neda Arnerić. So it apparently also had a soundtrack.
