There's a 17 year-old in our youth setup we bought from Poland last summer who's getting a bit of buzz from everyone that's seen him. It's hard to watch the U18s and the U23s, so up until now the hype has been limited but in the last few months his performances have been out of this world.

Scored another two tonight to go with this one the other day against Newcastle:

One to keep an eye on, it would seem ...

He's been finding his feet of late. Took a while to settle in as you can imagine.

His goal against Newcastle was really good, but there's plenty of things he needs to improve on.

Like plenty of youngsters, he needs to become more consistent, as he drifts in and out of games at the moment. Also needs to learn to use his team mates more - he can be guilty of taking an extra touch or two and losing the ball when a team mate is in a better position.

A talented lad for sure, but has to be taken with a huge pinch of context, as is the same for (almost) all players at youth level.

We were going all out to Mbappe and now they just need to spell Musialowski correctly.

This lad may or may not become the new Lionel Messi, but that goal says a lot more about that defence than it does about him.

And he might be able to do it in a bleak, empty park somewhere, but can he do it in a bleak, empty Anfield?

There's something sad about LFC.TV using the same (shit) commentator for a children's kickabout as they do for senior games.

I think he just dubs over it.

He dubs over games from the early 90s that weren't on telly when they just showed the goals last on Match of the Day.

The new Lewandowski can save Liverpool millions in the transfer market, especially with the pandemic and Brexit only affecting Liverpool and no one else.

Now careful that kind of chat will result in a job offer from Reach

He reminds me of me at a similar age but I turned out to be shit. I fully expect him to turn out the same way.

In thirty years he’ll be on here slagging off the latest ‘prodigy’ we’ve signed from a club in the Albanian third division.

The circle of life.
