That was boss, Fabinho in midfield and Jota up front was just worlds apart from what we’ve been seeing of late.

 

Phillips was superb, really should be proud of what he’s done in a red shirt, hasn’t put a foot wrong. I never want to see hendo or fab at the back again, it’s been our undoing this year, you just lose too much elsewhere. 
 

You get VVD & Gomez in behind Fab we’re laughing again.

Bayern vs Liverpool

PSG vs Madrid

Atletico vs Dortmund

Brilliant performance and finally rewarded with the goals it deserved.

 

Whole midfield brilliant, defence much better in the second half, and Alisson with a couple if vital saves. Played well in attack as well, and if we can actually start scoring a few goals again from here.

 

Hopefully we can build some confidence from here.

This, I thought that the midfield of Widj, Fab and Thiago were superb, and it was nice to see Mane and Robbo playing together again, special mention to the two lads at the back, well done.

I think we'll get Atleti again, City are nailed on to get Porto though.

The boys deserved that. Some wayward finishing by both sides especially in the first half but the boys would have been continuing with fuck all luck if they'd have found themselves behind at half time.

 

2nd half I didnt get the impression Leipzig had the belief they would score. Makes a nice change for the oppos to have that feeling!

 

Thanks BT you cunts, cut my stream just before the move that saw Mo scored. By the time I found another working stream it was actually 2-0 but the Dutch stream was behind so I managed to see Divock cross for Sadio to put his foot to it and steering it into the net. Thank fuck he didnt try and head it into the goal like in the first half!

 

Leipzig knew it was all over at that point even if they didnt at 1-0. We werent shipping 5 in this.

 

Nice to get back to winning ways and our results just had to change at some point. I dont think we've been as bad as some of these recent results suggest. Of course the big test will be when we play at Anfield next.

 

Solid performance by Nat and Kabak. Nat got done for pace once I thought but I dont get all these people who think he needs to be like a whippet. Good solid games from Fab, Gini and Jota who was unlucky not to score.
