Cheltenham 2021 thread

Recommended Posts

I know we have a current and active Horse racing thread, but that's currently a discussion about what a cunt Gordon Elliott is/was/always will be.

He was odds on to be top trainer at the Festival until a few days ago.

All the Horses that were in his stables have/will be relocated to other major firms, lie Willie Mullins for one. He already had a good hand anyway.

So, this is this years Festival thread, away from the fall out.

Any tips, fancies, info etc...post it here.

It starts on Tuesday 16th March this year.

I've 2 decent sized ante-post bets NRNB along with a few multi bets on short priced favs.

Gowel Road 28/1 e/w County Hurdle but will prob go Supreme route.

Come on Teddy 16/1 e/w Pertemps.

Been spending the last day trawling through the Handicaps to try get some decent price nags but it's a tough one.

The one bet I've done is NRNB Waiting Patiently E/W for The Gold Cup.

I like that horse. I think its Ruth Jefferson? I might be wrong on that. It's nice when another smaller trainer/owner wins races at Cheltenham rather than the big boys of Mullins, Nicholas ,Elliot, Henderson.

As luck would have it, I’m only working mornings this week. Looking forward to the good people on this thread making me rich by passing on their superior knowledge of the sport of kings.

I will aim to make you so much money Yorky you'll be rich enough friday night to hop over the fence into Lancashire.

I might buy Lancashire. Should have enough if a couple of short priced each way bets go my way, I might even have change to buy a Yorkshire Hotpot for a celebratory meal.

Dear Sport of Kingsters,

Am I doing this favourites accumulator tomorrow or what?

I have the £10 earmarked to feed my kids for the next two months available to make this wager. Their consumption of crispy pancakes and spam fritters in the short to medium term is dependent on not throwing this money down ‘Shouldhavewon Lane’ or ‘Gotblockedin Avenue’.

Kind regards.

YR.
