But she knew who he was, what it meant and so on. It's not like she never heard of the Royal Family. She does not need to "look him up" specifically, there was enough info on him.

This question was in context of not knowing she would have to behave in a certain way not only in public but in private too. Curtesy to the Queen as an example in private and in public.

Imagine if you got married to someone and then you found out that you would be expected to live with your new partners' family. You could legitimately say that's not what you expected, they could legitimately say you didn't ask what was expected but if you had asked they would have openly told you.

Regardless of how she found out she was expected to act, she didn't find out and clearly Harry didn't tell her either.

Well, if you are marrying into the Corleone family, you'd expect a conversation, not just to be given a box set to watch. That is definitely something I would expect to learn from the future spouse, not through Internet research.

So the question has to be asked: Why did he not tell her that was going to be expected? Only one reason I can think of...

This is bizarre. He's gone for a walk on a nice looking beach and it's provoked this absolute outpouring of bile. Vine is an horrendous cunt but presumably this is playing to the gallery and the average Mail reader will lap it up, which is pretty scary.

I'm totally amazed by the outrage at a couple who've decided that Britain and the toxic press aren't worth sticking around for, so left for privacy; whereas a massive nonce gets to lie low with no questions asked.

Call me naive but I'm beginning to suspect it's because Meghan is one of them black people that the press aren't very fond of.

Daily mail readers and its journalists crow on and on about a nanny state and grown adults should be treated as such and left to make their own choices, they even cry about health and safety gone mad and kids should be able to climb trees and take risks because it's done them no harm. Yet when a grown man decides to make a choice on his own life and its direction they're outraged at his audacity. I reckon if the fucker stepped outside of royal protocol to become another Lawrence Fox he'd be their prince of hearts.  Gobshites.

The hypocrisy is unreal. Although thinly veiled in the old "if you are white you can grumble but if you're black you have to suck it up and let us carry on calling you racist names".

The H&S thing really fucking annoys me. I covered it at Level 3 in my BTEC back in 2014 and I had misconceptions about how H&S is applied (nanny state etc), but upon actually sitting down and reading about different aspects of it, you realise how important it is and how it means people get to go home at night. Rags like the DM think this is a bad thing as business owners can't cut corners and keep all that lovely money in their pockets as they have to spend to keep us mere plebs safe at work.

Here's one to add to Meghan's avocados being responsible for world wide human rights abuses.

Future queen lizard Kate was openly applauded for her use of avocados in treating morning sickness, but she isn't black so it's OK. Love the upset about Muslims being persecuted. Pot...kettle...black

I have zero interest in this debate as I have no time for the Royal Family and I see no place for them in a modern society but my spidery senses tell me she is a wrongun, also I reckon he’s a right prick for splitting on his family on world television. They may very well be a bunch of gobshites but you don’t do things like that.

But it was ok for his family to treat them like shit, let false stories run about Meghan being rude to Kate Middleton run and the British media to hound them every single day without right of reply? Aah ok.

Ofcom got a shit load of complaints about that Harry and Meghan interview. Why? Can’t have a black person standing up for themselves against lies spread about them that’s why

Very true.

We have a section society now that didn't want to "go back to the 70's" in terms of what Corbyn was promising in his election manifestos with socialism. However, they want to go back to 70's because they can't use words like N*gger, coon, wog, jiggaboo etc because it's PC gone mad.

There is absolutely a massive racist under-current and this with these two has brought it very more to the fore. If Markle was white caucasian there is no way the DM and its readership go after her the way they have.

Hard to argue with this point as suggested by the Queen's decision to change the rules of titles for William's children but not Harry's.

Not fully up on the rule, but i think its more to do with line to the throne and not the fact the ginger married Meghan.

William is direct line, Harry isnt, same as Anne and her kids.

When the Queen dies, and Charles is crowned, then Harrys kids become Prince/princess by right due to line to the new King.

Its not a race thing its a line of succession thing.

I looked up the rule written by King George V in 1917...

the grandchildren of the sons of any such sovereign in the direct male line (save only the eldest living son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales) shall have and enjoy in all occasions the style and title enjoyed by the children of dukes of these our realms.”

This means that only the first child of William (he being the first grandchild of the son of the Queen) was officially allowed to be given a statutory title but the Queen stepped in before William's first born with a Letters Patent to ensure all his children received suitable titles. I believe they have both been given the title of Princess.

In other words, the Queen stepped in to ensure an extra child got the title but refused to do the same for Harry's children. You can argue his children were not entitled but neither was Harry's second child. That's where there are question marks.

Given how they set their press hounds on his mother, I wouldn’t be surprised if he welcomed a bit of payback.

Exactly. Even in the interview he held back, you know full well he wanted to let it all out. The way the media have treated them is absolutely shocking. Pure bullying yet they get away with it. Piers with his daily rants about her etc. They should have gone on Oprah and told everyone to fuck right off. If someone treated my missus like that, family or not I'd tell them straight out to fucking do one.

I think that was the problem (and maybe deliberately misrepresented as to why baby Archie does not have a title) that there was talk that by the time Charles becomes king the rule will be changed meaning child/teen/adult Archie never gets a title.
