Weirdest films you ever seen

Just watching 'I'm thinking of ending things' starring Todd from breaking bad as the nice guy boyfriend that the main character is thinking of dumping.

I have no idea what the fuck is going on with 40 minutes still left in the film. I doubt that will change. I hate cringe worthy situations and this film is filled with them yet I am engrossed and have no idea why.

Anyone seen it and can tell me what the hell I am watching?

You are watching a Charlie Kaufman film.

Peter Jackson made a really weird horror movie in his early days - Bad Taste. That was weird. Cannibal Holocaust as well. And a very weird film called Twin Town. Nothing seemed to happen and it's set in Wales.

I've seen Twin Town, was supposed to be Wales' answer to Trainspotting at the time, but unsurprisingly it fell short. Didn't particularly think it was weird though.

I felt like ending things after watching that.

At first I found it stylish and intriguing, by the end I realised I'd been duped by a tedious self-indulgent fucking mess.

The uncut version of A Serbian Film is the most repugnant, deplorable, worthless piece of filth I've ever clapped my eyes on.

The director says it's "an allegory of the Balkans War". I say he's a fucking liar. And a sadist. A pornographer, a pervert and very probably a nonce too.

If I ever met him I'd knock him the fuck out.

There's a scene I remember where a guy asks another guy "You want the doughnut? You want the ice ring?"

Weirdest question I've ever heard on film.

Eraserhead is about as hatstand as cinema gets. Stuff like Blue Velvet and Brazil (mentioned above - by Mook, I think?) seem positively mainstream by comparison. It’s truly fucking bizarre; disturbingly so.

What's his username on here?

I've not seen A Serbian Film as every description I saw about it screamed "avoid" to me. I made the mistake of watching Irriversible and have been wary of shit like that ever since, just depressing, unsettling and with no redeeming features at all.

I thought Twin Town was pretty good myself.
