Yep. If Phillips is injured and the plan was for Fabinho in midfield I think there’s a bit of leeway today, but we’d still have been better served by changing the shape of the team than expecting a miracle from the same battered set-up.

We can blame injuries for sone of this but the team has been shite since the lock down. 

 

They've looked half arsed through most of it, not really any fight or energy at all. Especially up top. 

 

Feels like the team has run its cycle and needs changed. Its all half arsed, slow and often lazy and fucking brain dead. 

 

Lose this and top 4 has gone, we'd be better finishing 7th than 5th and making a proper run without Thursday night football. Wouldn't be against a big push to move on some of the 3 forwards at all. Bring the money in, wages down and get the next Mane and Salah.
