Easy for me this one, I love After The Goldrush & Sgt Pepper, despite being a touch overrated in purely musical terms is an amazing LP.

I like Highway To Hell but it's no Let There Be Rock & The Velvet Underground can get right to fuck.

After The Goldrush is a terrific album of the time and still is, if in the mood, for those that just didn't know.

I'm not slagging off the Pet Shop Boys but have they actually recorded an album like that and should they be anywhere near a best album shoot out?

Nien.

Maybe people are voting for what they like? I don't like Neil Young's voice, personally.

As you've probably gathered by now I am hardly a music historian, so once again I based it on the above tracks.

Obviously didn't need to listen to the Beatles track as even a pleb like me knows this track and album, but it was piss easy to choose between what remained. AC/DC

Why ?

Because it is universally regarded as one of the most important records in the history of rock. Even that Rolling Stone's 500 albums list, which normally plays it very safe in its selection, has it on 13th place or something.

I am not a huge fan of VU or Lou Reed but would know 80 percent of that album even if I never heard it in the album form. So you would expect that a lot more people would vote for it, since classic albums have mostly  been doing rather well so far.
