I struggle with albums if Im honest, usually I think around half of the songs on most albums are poor. I’m not sure I could pick 20 albums where I like listening to almost every song if I’m honest.

 

I think Synchronicity is a great album though, surprised its only got my vote so far.

It's great apart from the abomination that is "Mother" which shouldn't have even been considered as a b-side. If i had have thought more, it may have even squeezed into my ten...

I'm guessing there must have been some sort of agreement that Summers and Copeland got a song each on that album as that and Miss Gradenko are easily the weakest tracks on there. Sting was clearly at his peak as a songwriter, you'd assume he could have tossed off (!!) a couple of  tunes in his sleep that were better than those two.

This turned out to be harder than I thought.  Eventually I had to go with albums I think I got most play out of over the years and just cut the list after ten titles.
