I didnt get a chance to add my last 5 nominations. I would have added Vienna by Ultravox and Architecture and Morality by OMD too. Black Sea by XTC is another.

I thought about Vienna and Architecture and Morality as well.

Too many great albums but not enough space to include them unfortunately.

The Great Escape was very good at the time, but has dated awfully.

Some songs that will stand the test of time, but not albums.

The Great Escape is the worst Blur album.

Modern Life is Rubbish, blur, 13, Think Tank and The Magic Whip are good albums.

No way he should be put in now but I wish I'd selected a Peter Gabriel album. He's a mausical genius. His videos are even more groundbreaking than some of Wacko Jacko's...And his album Us would put up a fair fight...

@Bjornebye  A ch@mpion's league type thing with group stage comprising one or two "seeded" albums (more votes) and four albums in each group, top two proceed? Or everyone has to choose their (say) top 50 from the list, then top 40, etc?

How shall I fuck off?

I'm doing groups of 4 (top 2 go through) for round 1. 1 group each day. No seeding though.

Sorry mate it is on my final list.

As is Achtung baby.

I really also should’ve thought to add Sublime - Sublime.

it is, quite simply, sublime and belongs in this conversation. Even though it’s late and the list is closed, it should be added. It’s easily good enough and not adding it will invalidate the whole thing, which you’d be disappointed by.
