I bought one from Amazon but it was shite so I sent it back. It was meant to be 4k but it was terrible.

I need something that films in HD so I can post to youtube. Also probably looking for something that I can fit an external mic to. Preferably something I can use indoors as well as outside in natural light.

And my budget would be up to £350.

Tech radar reviewed the top 12 YouTube cameras and the only one below £350 was the GoPro Hero 9 Black priced at £329.98

Edit: the GoPro Hero Black 8 and 7 models are cheaper

Read some reviews and ended up buying the Canon PowerShot G7X Mark III.

It's generally between £600-700 but there was a site doing it for £420 so I jumped on that.

That's a great deal, I noticed the list included cameras with prices between £600 and £2,000 so just over £400 is a steal. Which site did you get it from? Asking for a friend...

A site called TobyDeals.

There was another one selling at the same price but TobyDeals had a higher trustpilot rating so I went with that.

Most other sites were still selling it at full price or close to it. On the Canon site it was over £700.

Hoping it will be delivered tomorrow, but it might be Friday.

Toby Deals UK shut down as of today:

Dammit, for £400 I was interested too.
