Formatting a hard drive

Upgraded my HD ages ago from 500gb to 1TB, and I want to use the old one now for external storage - I've got one of those external jobbies to plug into my PC.

However when I do my PC sees it as three different drives (see below)

I just want to format the bloody thing so that it is one drive.  Any ideas how I do this?

clogggy has this down, your drive being previously a system drive would have been seperated into three seperate partitions. a complete format should remove the partitions as well as format the drive. You can use the Disk Management utility in Windows 10 to see all the drives and partitions.
