At around 53:10 onwards on this, is my life's ambition.  Feeble I know, but still...

San Sebastian is immense. It's gutting that it's so far away. I'd happily spend every July and August there (while it's 45 degrees in Sevilla).

That Rick Stein programme is really popular here for some reason. As is Portillo's Great Railway Journeys.

Cunt Stein gets paid to go to great places and eat amazing food.

He's even got an idyllic coastal restaurant/retreat down here in Australia too, the shite.

Been there.  Lovely.

My missus wants to go to his place in Cornwall this summer. It'll be forty quid for cod and chips presumably.

Anyway we should probably allow this thread to return to discussing the possibility of us beating Real Madrid, then Bayern Munich, then Manchester City, to win the European Cup.

Yes, sorry.

Hope we get beat.

Think it'll be difficult for us to beat both Bayern and City with this draw...

Last I heard they were expecting fans to be allowed back by then.

Fingers crossed. I was pretty confident last season pre-Atletico so had Istanbul booked .. obviously Adrian conspired against us but I see the final is in Istanbul this season. Would be nice if fates aligned ..

I love those traditional Asturian sidrerias that you can smell from halfway down the street!

Brilliant place Asturias. Worked in Aviles for 6 months a few years back. 2 Euro for a bottle of sidra. Lost track of the number of times I stumbled out of a joint in the early hours of the morning having had some of the best, and cheapest, nights out on the pop that I can remember.

Quietly confident we can get to the final with that draw. The final is a one off game and anything can happen as we know full well and looking at that other side of the draw, I'd be hoping for BM or BD in the final, if we had to face anyone of preference, just because of the style of striker they have.

Lovely spot. Unbelievable food and txakoli is a fantastic drink.
