Klopp has always been conservative with team selections, fabinho and Henderson is the safe choice. Even with our best side we can lose to City so the team selection isn't really something to cry about. I'm a bit miffed why Milner played 4 in a row as I think he would of been more use in this game if fresh.

Not a good start for Davies.  Not getting on the bench ahead of Williams when there’s Phillips and Kabak both on the bench as well so there’s little risk he would be needed anyway.

And fact we left it to last day to do anything meant it was always gonna take some time after it before we saw either...had we acted earlier we could have seen some of our midfield back by now.

If it was any other team, one of the new signings prob would've started. Can't expect either of them to come in against an in form city side in a massive game.

Yes and it's too massive a game to sling Kabak or Davies into the mix. In my opinion.
