I think they will. I'm hoping they won't.

 

Our enormous wage bill needs trimming and they must be some of the highest earners we have. If they are, given their level over the past year or so, they're also some of the worst value players we have, pound for pound.

I think this is a really interesting point. I reckon there's not a deal Liverpool would put in front of them that would make them want to sign. I'm expecting a Gini situation with at least one of them, probably both.

Klopp was so hurt from losing his players at Dortmund, it seems he's desperate to make sure he keeps everyone who gave him everything just to make up for that alone!

 

If Bobby or Mane don't perform this season, we have to see ruthless Klopp in the summer.

 

Until then, they all (Klopp included) deserve our support for the season

I'm not sure at their age their is much value to protect. I'm sure if we.could add another year we would. But I suspect both players will be looking for their last contract.

I’ve only ever seen Bamford play when Leeds are on TV and he can go from the sublime to ridiculous in a single 90 mins. I’ve seen balls bounce off him that should have stuck, miss numerous sitters and then he’ll go and score a cracker.

I don’t think this is a reasonable position Simbo. It’s okay for you not to rate the player, but you can’t deny that he’s good technique, undoubtedly better than most number 9s in the league. ‘Donkey’ is as an inaccurate pejorative to describe Bamford as if you called Wilfred Zaha, slow,
