Ah yes see you have excluded the 50 million on romero

You mean the 42ml option in a one year loan deal. Not obligation but option to sign for £42-46ml next year.

Good to know Daisy knows more about the deal that Atalanta

Atalanta B.C. announce that the player Cristian Romero has joined Tottenham Hotspur on loan, with an option to make the move permanent.

It's not an option. Why on earth do you think they would just let such a highly valued player go out for free for a year?

Yeah, it mirrors Atalanta's deal with Juve for Demiral, both clubs have options on the respective player with no obligation.

No I'm not knob head. Its a committed purchase. Spurs owners used their brains to find a way to manage cash flow properly

Knob head - ha. You really are a pathetic.

For once, Google something, educate yourself and come back with for you’ve learned.

That or keep on eating PVA glue off a spatula, you dumb fuck.

If any of you lot are 5ft 7in or smaller you need to be careful about bad mouthing the bloke on the Internet. He’s capable of laying waste to any short arse who has a chip on their shoulder.

Hitting a man with who has to wear safety goggles, shithouse behaviour.

Ok knob head let's just see what happens next year. This is what you call creative accounting that you don't believe happens when there is lots of money involved.

I don’t care what happens next summer. The quotes were on this summer.

I guess the question is whether you would see a loan that, potentially, pushes spending further down the road as penny pinching or creative accounting under different circumstances.

If another club does it, it's creative squad building and cash flow management. If FSG do it, it's them being tight cunts.

Use some common sense knob head. Think about it. Why would a club let a regular highly valued first team player leave them without an obligation to buy. Its the equivalent of us letting van dijk go on loan to Juventus for a year.

They are also about to spend another 40-50 million on other players.

No one spending though. You and French knob head said so.

I really don't think anyone would complain if it meant an additional attacker or midfielder for the season that we desperately need.

Hilarious.

I don’t know or care why it’s a loan now and not a signing. Ask Atalanta. Why have Juve loaned Chiesa & Locatelli?

End of the day, it’s a loan. So take your medicine and fuck off.

Because they got an equivalent deal on his replacement from Juventus, it means they aren't locked into either deal and it comes in cost neutral.

Except they will be. Spurs fans are all pretty convinced he is their player for the next six years

I wouldn't bother. Its a completely different breed of fan nowadays. One that is just happy for us to exist.

We are no longer run to win trophies, just to make money and that has transferred itself on to a large proportion of the fan base. Anything else is a bonus and comes from Jurgen's drive to succeed.

lets tune in six months from now and see how well this squad is doing when its had multiple games per week.

Not worth the argument.
