I thought La Liga were saying Barcelona couldn’t even register any of their new free signings because of all the hoo har about having so much more money going out than coming in? Surely the same would apply to them signing Saul, even with Griezmann’s wages off the books?

No idea but don’t La Liga generally bend the rules for Barca? Signing Braithwaite outside the window, buying Suarez and a few others before enforcing their transfer ban etc etc etc.

I think one of the first things was barcelona getting their wage bill down and messi's was the biggest. Technically, as a free agent his previous huge wedge was off the wage bill so cutting it by the rumoured 50% is a start. Think they have to cut more to register the likes of Aguero etc though.

Barcelona signed Braithwaite because they went begging to La Liga about an injury crisis (Dembele was injured at the time, but then he always is), and La Liga let them make an emergency signing outside the transfer window if they met the player's release clause. Levante, Braithwaite's previous club, were denied the chance to use the same loophole even though his sale left them down to the bare bones while they were fighting against relegation. That's the part that doesn't sit right with me.

Klopp and/or the analysis department obviously don’t rate him because that’s exactly the type of deal the club would do, knowing that they could flip him for a profit in a year or two if there was definite value there.

I think there's just no need anymore. We have 7 CB's. And obviously, they rated Konate much higher.

For 8.5 million I would expect interest from other Premier League teams for Kabak. The chant alone is worth the 8.5 million!

I know nothing of him but I’m not a fan of Neco Williams’ performances last season, so I’ve no issue with it. 

Wilson would do well in Scotland.
