Tidy little player, good touch, good left foot, wins the ball back and might suit a mid table premier league team. I can't see him helping us much against the park the bus sides at Anfield.

Only logic to it is the home grown quota. But if we were that worried about it why did we give Adrian an extension? I'd also probably keep Ox over Keita than spend £35m on Bowen.

Think it was the season before last Bowen had a really great purple patch and looked potentially a very good player, one to watch.  If Klopp thinks he can get the best out of him on a consistent basis then you never know, he could surprise many.

If you’re not going to pay full whack for the few decent English players about, you’ll end up having to over pay for the average ones to keep up with the outdated quota.

Of course, we end stuck with shite like Lallana and oxocube for years but yea quotas.

He's worth 12 million tops. I've used all kind of algorithms, statistical analysis, interviews from the player, rumours about his ma, the area he grew and how many keepy ups he can do.

As I said yesterday for £20m Danjuma looks an interesting wild card.

https://www.marca.com/futbol/villarreal/2021/08/02/61081a3146163f32578b45f0.html

Translation...

True to its policy of financial control, Villarreal does not want to lose its head when it comes to making its big bet in the transfer market this summer. The yellows are looking for an extreme that meets the needs that Unai Emery demands this season in order to face with greater guarantees a campaign with the demands of the one that lies ahead. But the truth is that the options that the yellows have tested exceed the current spending capacity of the Plana as a whole. And despite being willing to make a new effort after the signings of Foyth or Día, they are clear that they are not going to throw the house out the window and destabilize the club's accounts.

The Dutchman Arnaut Danjuma remains the first on the list of options handled by the yellow technical secretariat. But for his arrival to be a fact, Bournemauth, the club that owns his pass, should lower a requirement of around 25 million euros. A figure that the people of Castellón, by no means, intend to reach as shown by the initial offer made and that did not exceed 15 million.

It should be remembered that the two-time Dutch international arrived two summers ago to the English team after paying 16.5 million euros. And that his performances, especially this campaign where he has scored 15 goals and has distributed seven assists, have revalued him to the point that several Premier teams (among which Liverpool have sounded) have been interested in his services.

The general manager of the "Cherrie" team, Scott Parker, recently confirmed that he had ruled out offers for the footballer: "There is a possibility that" Arnie "will leave the club. It is well documented that there have been offers for him, and that they have been rejected. I sit here thinking that there is a possibility that Arnie will leave, but I also sit here knowing that if that offer is not the right offer, then he will stay and play a big role in what we do, "he said. The footballer has been injured throughout the preseason and, despite being already training, will not play the first league game that his team will play next weekend against West Brom.

Lack of sales conditions

The current economic situation has slowed down a market that, in other circumstances, could have come with important offers for Villarreal players. The campaign carried out by footballers such as Pedraza, Pau Torres or Gerard Moreno has not been translated, at least for the moment, by irrefutable proposals within the La Plana club. A circumstance that prevents large outlays after those already made.  At the time, the CEO of Villarreal, Roig Negueroles, already acknowledged to Marca that players like Guedes were "out of market capacity" for Villarreal. As in the case of the Portuguese and if there is no sale for important figures, the yellow team could look for new alternatives if the English team is planted in their demands.

Literally had to Google who Arnaut Danjuma is.

Underwhelming.

Although saying that, a number of players have moved from the Championship and stepped straight in, in the Premiership (Maddison, Grealish, Watkins, (ahem) Bowen) but again, it feels like we could do better.

I wouldn’t be against loaning Jones out, but we need somebody else of top quality to come in.

On Sarr, given our 2 games in January, maybe we think we can get buy with Firmino, Jota, Ox & Elliot in those games?

Isn't that Indykalia guy a proven bullshit merchant absolutely no-one pays attention to?

You know what really fucking infuriates me to a the point of wanting to do people serious physical damage? People who use our lack of transfer activity to have a pop at James Milner. It's so fucking out of order. Know nothing pricks like this cunt. Seriously tempted to end-credits-of-Jay-&-Silent-Bob the lot of them.

Lallana was most definitely shite. £25million that joke cost. £14mill for Joe Allen as well, not to mention Mignolet, Ballotelli, Benteke etc.  Rodgers signed some absolute crap the cunt.

One of our better and most important player in Klopp's first season or so. Beloved by his teammates and manager, a total fucking pro in all senses of the word. His body wasn't up to the rigours, for sure, but it doesn't make him shite. Clueless post.

They were all absolutely shite. Lallana was the most infuriating one for me out of them all. Genuinely can't remember him having a decent game and was just permanently fucking injured. Slowed down virtually every attack as well.

Nowhere near the best or most important player in any season at the club.

But yeah he supposedly had that one season.
