Shaq is a quality player, can understand why he would want to leave. Klopp uses him far too sparingly. But letting him go for 10-12 million seems mad, it weakens us further.

He scored 3 goals at the Euros and for someone who doesn’t “suit our style” he always seems to make a telling contribution when he’s on the pitch.

Shaqiri is on about 80 to 90k a week, so we probably want to get him off the wage bill.  His wages may be a problem for some of the clubs interested in him, so a lower transfer fee will probably help solve that issue?

I think you are overlooking the obvious answer - We need to free up a foreign player place for Mbappe.

This. His strengths are quite clear, as probably are his weaker sides. Well known as a quality player across Europe, and should be an attractive target for a number of clubs. If not it’s probably due to salary levels.

Apparently Harvey Elliott is set to take his place in the squad.

We're never going anywhere near him at that price, but imagine how happy it would make @aRdja if we got him.

A Tammy Abraham / Patrick Bamford strike partnership….firing us straight to The Championship.

Arsenal really are going all in on overpriced English players what’s their thinking here?

Sure white, Abraham,  Maddison and even Ramsdale might become a lot better but for the fees they are rumoured to be paying they won’t have much room for a sell on so it’s a huge gamble that they can get them into the top 4.

I'd be happy with him too tbh. Price is a bit rich, but if some of that could be deferred to performance clauses and especially on loan at first, it's probably not far off his value. 23, 200 games, 90 goals. Shown he can score as a starter and as a sub. Big, quick, good touch.

Watkins would be a better option, but would probably cost quite a bit more.

edit: getting a forward will fully rely on us shipping Origi though, can't see anything happening without that.

Abraham is 2 years younger aswell. Watkins will be 26 this year. Older than i thought he was

People say he hasn't done enough in a red shirt, but I'd suggest even the greatest players would struggle to contribute much from the bench.

Dusan Vlahovic just banged in 7 goals in 45 minutes of pre-season. He's too obvious for us. We sign forwards who couldn't hit the side of a Renault Espace so we can "develop" them and look all clever.

Mo says "hello , you massive dramatic quim"
