No doubt it’ll be pointed out they spent £85m on Sancho but ignore we’ve spent £36m on Konaté or complain they’ve spent more than us.

In fairness, that difference isn't nothing is it? Sancho will be on significantly higher wages than Konate, and the difference in fee would pay for a Wijnaldum replacement in addition before we needed to sell to buy.

While true, it could be also argued they earn more than us & the Glazers needed to put their hand in their pockets.

True. Sancho is relatively untried. Yes, he's done good at Dortmund but didnt they have some issues with him? I didnt see anything in him during the Euros so united are, in my opinion, taking a big risk with him. Was it £73m Dortmund settled on? I know they wanted £85m but was sure the papers were trumpeting united getting him for less?
