Doesn't make it any less correct though

I’m not going round in circles on this again.

I just don’t see why some have got to be so needy and piss & moan about everything instead of seeing how it all pans out.

January aside, and they were extensive circumstances, under Klopp, when have we ever waited until the day before the window closes to do all our business? In fact, it’s largely been the opposite.

Only us and the mancs have signed anybody of significance yet. There are 8 weeks of the window left, why don’t we just see what actually does or doesn’t happen before going off on one?

There is literally no point in getting upset at something that might never happen.

Why does it bother you?

What would you like to see in this thread instead?

Or would you prefer to let the thread move down the pages until something actually happens?

1) Because it’s the same posters, thread after thread, making the same tired points.

As a paid up member of this forum, I come to discuss actual Liverpool matters, not having read the same boringly repeated opinions in virtually every thread.

2) People actually actively discussing ins  & outs in an adult fashion. Not coming in to make the same sarcastic comments for the umpteenth time.

3) As above.

Oxlade Chamberlain

While true, that was based on his contract.

Salah was the main player we signed that summer and he was signed early in July.

Robertson was also signed pretty early in that window.

I accept last summer was a bit different but again, there are reasons for that -Thiago still playing for Bayern in the CL being one of them.

Well we're in sell mode. So of course we won't be in for anyone who's negotiating now. We will get what's left if anything at all at the end of the window depending on who we sell. But of course, this is a good thing. Not signing players saves us millions and shows how clever we are compared to our rivals.

Spot on. Konate will have not been paid for yet.

Oxlade Chamberlain

We effectively signed next to nobody in his 1st window (grujic who was about 12 and Caulker)

His 1st summer window they looked after him

Jan 17 - no signings

Summer 17 - as you say chamberlain at the end of the window

jan 18 - vvd nice and early, because they fucked up the summer before and sold coutinho. so it could be argued he was half a season late.

summer 18 - nice and early as the coutinho money was still rolling.

Jan 19 - nobody

Summer 19 - Adrian right at the end of an early window close.

Jan 20 - minamino nice and early to utilise a release clause.

Summer 20 - thiago and Jota signed after last season started.

Jan 21 - 2 massive signings right on the deadline.

So basically apart from his 1st summer and when they were spending coutinho money, these late signings are actually reasonably typical.

Yes, Thiago should have forgone winning the CL and being MOTM in the final so he could sign for us a couple of weeks earlier.

As per usual, some very convenient omissions in facts.

Actually you are wrong again. He signed nearly a month after with the season already started.

You are definitely Craig from RAWK though.

Fellas, you know that FSG don’t put any of their own money in and that any funding we might have had has been taken up with the new Anny Road stand and COVID losses.

What are you even pretending to expect?

Then we need better custodians. We can't rely and continue to rely on our Manager for answers. Its unfair, and when he isn't backed you can see the results.

He is not gonna be around forever and then what? Where do you find another Jurgen to work in these conditions?

They truly missed the boat. They missed the opportunity after the CL win to really build up the squad. Yeah COVID, I get it, but everyone is operating in the same conditions. The only reason they won't use their own money or loan money is purely to do with their own interest in preserving their profit. It has nothing to do with football matters.
