The lads earned their thousands of pounds today.

That's the way you've got to think of it. No point letting it ruin your day, as the players still get to drive home in their sports cars and still have at least a few hundred grand in their bank account.

This myth that Thiago is slowing the game down is absolutely comical.  He moves the ball on quicker than literally any midfielder we have.  We spent years saying there’s a lack of creativity from midfield.  He plays all sorts of intelligent defence opening passes and has done it today again but the control of the players receiving it has been useless.

The tactics we play Thiago or no Thiago are to move the ball side to side and look for openings.    The number 8’s play generally safe passes that protect us from counter attacks.  It’s like some people have never watched us before.  For some stupid reason we then restrict those openings even further by not helping the full backs.

He does move the ball on quickly but his style is casual and slow. He strolls round the pitch unless he running backwards 5 yards behind play, playing all sorts of passes, many backwards, while pointing.  Yet to see many defence opening passes - drilled balls into a forward with his back to goal surrounded by defenders (which happens often) is virtually handing the ball back to the opposition time and again.  He's not putting the work in at the moment.  But it's early days for him and we're fucked by unprecedented injuries.

Haha. You loon.

hope you don’t lie to your kids and missus like you do on here.

Sorry, did I see you standing alone? Without a dream in your heart? Without a love of your own?

Away with you. The night is young and you have wheelie bins to sniff.
