Even if he’d have been there he wouldn’t have stopped that big grock heading it back.

They’ve been trying to do that all game, we should’ve known they were going to try it.

Yeah that’s where we miss VVD

Can’t see any way back here. So pedestrian, which isn’t surprising given that we are still forced to sacrifice our midfield engine. There’s no excuse against City though - if we line up with neither Henderson nor Fabinho in midfield, it’ll be because we're approaching the game against them with a Sean Dyche mindset.

What is Klopps plan of attack? Backwards, sideways, get to the opposition penalty area and either cut it back of cross it to their 6 foot 4 centre backs.

I'm not criticising I genuinely don't understand how Klopp intends to attack deep defences.

If our attacks are going to end in hopeful crosses into the box then we need a target man.

Its all because our structure has been broken with the centre half issue and all the numerous knock on effects to full backs, midfield and our whole style of play.

The energy in middle of Hendo and Fabinho is lost, the defence don’t bring it out like our first 3 centre halves would and as a result the full backs don’t start as far forward.

Our transitions are so slow and ponderous now most of time now and its easy to defend with 11 behind the ball against us.

We get a bit more room away so we'll do a bit better away but at home, we are pretty much fucked until we get our midfield back and proper centre halves playing.
