Microsoft Edge Browser

Started using this because the Catalina update on my Mac somehow coincided with a bug on Chrome and Safari making Search Baron my automatic browser even when I change it in the settings. Looked into it and its properly complicated to sort so my mate suggested Edge.

 

Anyone else use it?

My goto browser is Mozilla Firefox. I've stopped using Chrome as it became unreliable. Internet Explorer was an awful browser but Edge is built using Chromium -the same open source development kit used to build Chrome. It has superior reviews to Chrome so I'd suggest sticking with Edge if you liked Chrome.

You want to use Microsoft Edge on your Mac? The newer version based on WebKit isn’t horrible, but I still wouldn’t. It should actually be easy to sort out your Safari default search. It’s probably an extension that keeps changing it. You can delete it or navigate to the settings folder where it’s stored and delete the correct files. 
 

If you’re going to use another browser, Cromium and Vivaldi are well regarded. I use Chrome on Windows and Safari on MacOS.

I use Edge on my work laptop (windows) as it’s the default one and it’s fine. I use Chrome for my Mac though and prefer that.

Same as Sugar Ape, I use Edge on my work laptop, and prefer it to Chrome. I use Opera on my home PC and think it's better than either, the free VPN is also useful to get around region restrictions.

I’ve tried all sorts mate and it still won’t stop. Edge is working great though

Don't download porn. It fucks up your web settings. Allegedly. Not that I'd know. Because I don't download porn. On Chrome.
