The first Karate Kid film is fun. The second is so-so. I've not seen the third. Cobra Kai is supposed to be decent but I've never watched it. The less said the better about the remakes with Will Smith's kid and Jackie Chan.

The Godfather trilogy is special. An amazing first film, a true best-film-ever-contender work of art for the second, and a decent but pales-in-comparison-with-its-predecessors third instalment. Another movie holy trinity of Pacino/Coppola/Rota produced what quality cinema should be.

I was thinking about that for the next one. Everyone submits just 3 films and I'll whittle it down to 64. Godfather would defo be a contender until it gets knocked out by Herbie Goes Bananas.

Correct.

95%?

I think The Godfather: Part III is an underrated film. However, it’s not better than 95% of the non-Godfather films in this tournament.

Various Bond films

Rocky

Dollars Trilogy

Dirty Harry and Magnum

Force

Beverly Hilla Cop

Halloween

Toy Story 1-3

Terminator 1 & 2

Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back & Return of the Jedi

Jaws

Back of the Future

Life of Brian

I'm seeing three films there which I think are better than The Godfather part III...

Rocky

Magnum Force

Jaws

It's an opinion, Tony. And, obviously, a number picked from thin air.

I'd rather watch someone pick their nose for two hours than watch Star Wars.
