Well, Id have taken a point before kick off, when Sadio missed that chance after 2 minutes then Spurs 'scored' virtually straight away, I thought it was a good call. But the boys weren't having that. Our play was a lot better than of late.

Even though it took a poor decision by the French version of Mignolet to present an easy chance for Bobby, it was no less than we deserved.

2nd half started even better when the French Mignolet parried a shot to Trent who's lethal from that range. Just kidding! Seriously, he could have missed that but didnt. Just as well because once again, a spurs yard dog who hasnt scored in ages took a punt and it fair flew into the net. Shades of that Winyama or whoever it was who scored at Anfield with a screamer when he couldnt hit a barn door from 10 paces.

Mo then scored a lovely goal but VAR directed atkinson to review it and he wiped it out for touching Bobby's arm. Never mind it touched Dyer's arm first eh?

Then Sadio effectively wrapped the game up with a finish that hopefully does his finishing confidence some good.

Thought we dropped off massively in the 5 minutes added time and atkinson let spurs get away with a number of fouls in that period.

Still, I'll take the 3 points and the signs we've turned the corner. Might be too late for consecutive titles but if we can get our shit together, we can out pace the rivals and with city up soon, you never know.

Much better performance than we've seen recently. However, the result could have been very different had that Son goal not been disallowed. Beating Mourinho is always nice, but doing the double is especially pleasing.

Same again on Sunday, please, to put Moyes back in his box.

Happy with that. We weren't playing badly beforehand, but something just wasn't right. Thiago influenced the game a lot more playing more advanced rather than at the number 6 role. The full backs seemed a bit more composed and didn't just lash in crosses for the sake of it. Front 3 looked good. Firmino's best game for a while. I thought Wijnaldum was MOTM though. Just doing vital things very effectively. Picking up second balls galore. Winning back possession and being brave on the ball to beat the Spurs press.

Hopefully we'll build on this and go on a bit of a run.

If we win our next three and we get it down to 4 points (taking City win the other two), they will be positively shitting themselves.

Hopefully Arsenal can take points off United, Spurs and Leicester do as well and we position ourselves as the lead sniper of City.

First things first. Just beat West Ham. If the window closes and we haven’t signed a CB we’ll get punished for it long term.

Seems like the last few games we've been. Smothering our opponents with possession and passing but not being able to do anything with it.

This time 50/50 possession, and about 7 passes the difference between us.

Might be the fact we scored one, or Mourinho being brave thinking he can beat us while they're at home and we were shit. But letting spurs have more of the ball seemed to benefit us greatly.

Absolutely agree but that's what I mean, if we win our next three including beating City, then it's down to four.

You never know the Blades might scalp more Mancs.

We had over 60% by the time we'd scored the 3rd (twice)
