I thought the selection (8-6-6) meant we'd all get a 4-3-3 as default (which the manager might ignore depending on the players they get). We're more US style GMs than managers here, can't expect control over how the team sets up.

 

Actually, can we give the fake managers names as well @Bruce Spanner? That way we can blame them for fucking up our beautiful teams.

 

What happens if they get sacked?

If you’re definitely in, I think the general consensus would be that you should work your way through now and fill in the gaps you’ve missed.

Yeah. You should be good to just take your missed picks in all threads other than goalkeeper, as you were moved to the bottom of the list in that thread.

Yes, yes, that ok? 


You all have a team who train, scouts opposition and sets the minor stuff, you just need to do the ‘bigger picture’


The manager has stats for rotation and knowing when players are out of form so will move players around over the season to stop burn out and injuries etc. Everyone has the same settings for this, so it’s pretty equal.
 

You can also choose your management character which will help/hinder.

Cheers Cap'n , have put in an a defender, mids and attacker , doesnt seem to have got to me yet on a goalie and dont understand the manager bit. Apologies, will just keep an eye manually on the various threads

The manager draft has been scrapped, so nothing to do there.

I set preferred formations in the database, you have four to choose from dozens, and these are placed in to the game along with tactical instructions etc, so they are stuck to as a team ‘philosophy’. I’ll get this from you at the end. I’m effectively creating your wishes in manager form and they will stick to it as they’re ‘you’. That make sense? 

 

The managers will have your ‘names’, unless you want that changed? 
 

You’ll not be sacked as I’ve set season expectations to ‘avoid relegation’ so theta the chairman’s requirements. All fan data has been set to loyalty overload, so, I think, we’re pretty much safe for the season. If it does happen though I can just reinsert you.
