Not really, no. But, they were marketed almost in that way. The Carry Ons would be a franchise, so maybe...

 

Same could be said about the Universal or Hammer horrors.

This Marvel stuff is actually a bit difficult, I grew up reading comics with X-men, Daredevil, Spiderman, Punisher, Fantastic Four, Dr Strange, Hulk etc

 

Then we had DC that Superman, Batman etc.

 

But when I look into the movies I get a bit confused by it all.

 

So we should make a decision here, my question is, will X-men be counted as a Marvel CinemativUniverse movie, even if it was made by 20th Century Fox?
