Fuckin hell, even Norwegian comedians have had bigger success than these Jamaican jokers.

Record sales are not the only way to measure success in music. In fact, they're probably not the best way.

If you use that as your form of measurement, you can end up thinking Take That are more successful musicians than The John Coltrane Quartet.

Take metal out and you get the same - I am unsure if there are any black Norwegian musicians.

The trio racked up nine Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles -- more than any other group in history save for the Beatles (with 20) and the Supremes (12).

How can they compete against such a successful band as Toots and the Maytals.

I mean three singles on the Billboard top 200 charts, with their biggest hit peaking at number 157 for one week in 1976.

I'm pretty sure someone has already pointed out that it's not a record sales tournament.

No disrespect man but if those crews have international recognition - Toots is the black Elvis.

Getting to the top of the Billboard chart is extremely difficult, these guys have not made it yet, so far they have peaked at number 4.

You were the one asking about black Norwegian artists, not me.
